We can observe two types of ants in our nearby place one is red other is black.there exits other color ants also but we can't see them near by places and day to day life. Red ants Ants evolved from vespoid wasp ancestors in the Cretaceous period Ants are eusocial insects of the family Formicidae and, along with the related wasps and bees, belong to the order Hymenoptera Black ants There are many spices in ants until now we are found only 12000 to 14000 spices only.Acorrding to experts as Many as 30000 to 40000 spices of ants may exits some spices are still being discovered. Ants are classified into sub families some of sub families are 1. * Myrmicinae * (includes carpenter ants, harvester ants, and leafcutter ants) 2. * Formicinae * (includes fire ants, driver ants, and black ants) 3. * Ponerinae * (includes army ants and ponerine ants) 4. * Dolichoderinae * (includes odorous house ants and pavement ants) Both black and red ants are belongs to formicinae.we can't differentiat
